The festive season is here and so is the season of eating your favourite food. But do not fear, our latest detox diet can take your wayward diet back on track. It can help bring the sparkle to your eyes, make your skin glow and boost energy level.

1) Lemon Juice in the morning

This is the oldest trick to detoxify your body, but the best. Having a glass of warm water with lemon juice in the morning cleanses the system and improves digestion.

2) Raw Foods

Cut out on all the processed food and try to consume food as raw as possible. Raw foodstuffs are loaded with nutrients and enzymes.

3) Sugar

Ban all the food that contains added sugar or artificial sweeteners such as fruit juices, beverages, cakes, cookies, etc. as this sugar will ultimately land on your waist.

4) Coffee and alcohol

Coffee and alcohol are a big no-no when you stop and think about your health and well-being. Caffeine kindles the production of adrenalin, which can raise blood sugar levels, while alcohol can damage the kidneys and liver.

5) Nuts and Seeds

Nuts and seeds such as almonds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts are packed with antioxidants, mineral and vitamins without too much fat content.
