Men and women may demand equality in everything, but one cannot deny the fact that the body of a man and that of a woman is not same. The nutritional needs of men are different as they need to maintain muscle mass, prevent prostate cancer, needs to maintain strength, etc. Let us take a look at some of the simplest foodstuffs that are beneficial for men’s health.

1) Bananas

The humble bananas are rich in potassium and other nutrients which help to regulate blood pressure, nerves and can also minimise the chances of having a stroke.

2) Soybeans

Soybeans have been known to reduce the chances of prostate cancer, as they are filled with isoflavones, which is essential for prostate health. Just include soy nuts, soy milk, veggie burgers, soy cheese and tofu.

3) Oysters

Oysters are famed mainly for their zinc content, and deficiency in Zinc is related to prostate disease and fertility issues. It is recommended for men to consume at least 11mg daily.

4) Walnuts

Walnuts have a close resemblance to the human brain, and are also beneficial for it. Walnuts contain phytochemicals, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids which are essential for fighting depression and maintain cognitive function.

Here comes the best thing, chocolates are actually great for reducing the levels of bad cholesterols and also to maintain healthy blood pressure. So now it is not a sin to have a bar every once in a while.
